Terms of Service
Last updated: October 28, 2026
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Wildlife ISR, LLC, a Texas limited liability company located in Eustace, Texas ("WISR," "we," "us" or "our"). Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance
1.1 By accepting these Terms in the application, or by accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
1.2 If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.
2. Definitions
In these Terms:
- "Service" means the WISR application available at https://app.wisrdev.com, this website, and all related features, models and communications.
- "Property" means a ranch or parcel of land set up in the Service.
- "Owner" means the user who controls a Property in the Service. "Manager" means a user to whom an Owner has given management rights.
- "Cameras" means the trail cameras and other devices that send photos to the Service for a Property.
- "Your Content" means the photos your Cameras send to the Service, together with their embedded data, the labels, corrections and Property records you or your invitees add, and your Inputs to the Assistant.
- "Assistant" means the AI assistant feature of the Service, accessed by text or voice. "Input" means anything you type or say to the Assistant. "Output" means any response the Assistant generates, and any record it creates for you.
- "you" means the individual who uses the Service.
3. Eligibility and accounts
3.1 You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
3.2 Access to the Service is by invitation only. An Owner or Manager of a Property invites you and determines your role and permissions on that Property.
3.3 You must keep your sign-in credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
4. Early access
4.1 The Service is an early-access, pre-release service operating on a limited number of working ranches. It remains under active development.
4.2 Features may be changed, limited or withdrawn, sometimes without notice.
4.3 Species identification, person and vehicle detection, and alerts are still being validated. They will sometimes be inaccurate or delayed.
4.4 Photos reach the Service only when your Cameras have network connectivity.
4.5 You should not rely on the Service as your sole basis for any safety, security, legal or harvest decision.
4.6 We may modify, suspend or discontinue the early-access Service. Where practicable, we will give you reasonable advance notice.
5. Fees
5.1 The Service is currently provided free of charge.
5.2 If we introduce fees, we will notify you before any charge applies. You may stop using the Service rather than pay.
6. Your Cameras
6.1 You are responsible for your Cameras, including their operation, maintenance and data plans.
6.2 You must position your Cameras on land you own or are authorized to use. You must comply with all laws that apply where your Cameras are located.
7. Your Content
7.1 Ownership. As between you and WISR, you and your Property retain ownership of Your Content. We do not claim ownership of Your Content.
7.2 License to WISR. You grant WISR a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, copy, process, analyze and display Your Content in order to:
- provide the Service to you and the users you invite; and
- train, test and improve WISR's models, as described in our Privacy Policy.
7.3 Training opt-out. An Owner may opt a Property out of model training at any time, as described in our Privacy Policy. After an opt-out, that Property's photos and labels will not be used in new training or testing. Models trained before the opt-out are not affected.
7.4 WISR's property. WISR owns the Service, including its software and models, and including models trained in part on Your Content.
7.5 Your representations. You represent and warrant that:
- you have all rights necessary to submit Your Content to the Service and to grant the license in Section 7.2;
- your Cameras are placed and operated lawfully, including providing any notice or obtaining any consent required by applicable law.
7.6 Review. Our personnel may review and correct the Service's results on Your Content. Results shown to you may change as a result.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- (a) use the Service in violation of any law, or to harass any person;
- (b) use the Service to identify, track or conduct surveillance of any person;
- (c) place Cameras where people have a reasonable expectation of privacy, such as inside homes, bathrooms or bunkhouses;
- (d) access, or attempt to access, any account or Property you are not authorized to access;
- (e) interfere with, disrupt or place an unreasonable load on the Service;
- (f) copy, reverse engineer or reproduce the Service.
9. AI Assistant
9.1 Nature of Outputs. The Assistant uses artificial intelligence to generate Outputs. Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date, even when they appear confident. You should verify an Output before relying on it.
9.2 Not professional advice. Outputs are not legal, regulatory, safety or other professional advice. In particular, you should not rely on the Assistant for hunting seasons, bag limits, licensing requirements, game laws, trespass laws, firearm safety or weather safety. Always consult the official sources, such as the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and the National Weather Service, or a qualified professional.
9.3 Actions taken for you. At your request, the Assistant can create records in the Service, such as jobs, to-dos and entries for completed work, and can correct a record it has just created. You are responsible for any request you make. You should review each record the Assistant creates and confirm that it is correct before you or others act on it.
9.4 Acceptable use of the Assistant. In addition to Section 8, you agree not to:
- (a) attempt to bypass, disable or manipulate the Assistant's safeguards or instructions;
- (b) use the Assistant to obtain, or attempt to obtain, data about any account or Property you are not authorized to access;
- (c) use the Assistant for any unlawful purpose, or to generate content that is unlawful, harassing or harmful;
- (d) use automated means to send Inputs to the Assistant, except through features we provide.
9.5 Inputs and Outputs. Inputs are Your Content. WISR may use Inputs and Outputs to provide, evaluate and improve the Service, consistent with our Privacy Policy. For Inputs, this Section 9.5 applies in place of Section 7.2. WISR grants you the right to use Outputs for your own purposes in connection with your use of the Service. WISR claims no ownership of Outputs beyond its rights in the Service itself.
9.6 Third-party AI providers. The Assistant relies on third-party AI service providers, which process Inputs on our behalf to generate Outputs. They are not permitted to use Inputs to train their own models.
9.7 Changes. We may change, limit or withdraw the Assistant, in whole or in part, at any time. This includes setting usage limits.
10. Suspension and termination
10.1 You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
10.2 We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, or if your use creates a risk to the Service or to other users.
10.3 Sections 7.4, 7.5, 9.3, 9.5 and 11 to 17 survive termination of these Terms.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WISR DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, WISR DOES NOT WARRANT THAT:
- THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE;
- ANY PHOTO WILL BE RECEIVED OR CORRECTLY IDENTIFIED;
- ANY ALERT WILL BE SENT;
- ANY OUTPUT OF THE ASSISTANT WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, CURRENT OR SUITABLE FOR ANY PURPOSE.
12. Limitation of liability
12.1 TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WISR WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA OR BUSINESS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS, INCLUDING ANY RELIANCE ON OUTPUTS OF THE ASSISTANT. THIS APPLIES EVEN IF WISR HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
12.2 TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WISR'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF:
- (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID WISR FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM; OR
- (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100).
12.3 Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In those jurisdictions, the limitations in this Section 12 apply only to the extent permitted by law.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify WISR against any third-party claim, and to reimburse the resulting losses and reasonable costs (including reasonable attorneys' fees), to the extent the claim arises from:
- (a) your breach of these Terms or of applicable law; or
- (b) the placement or use of your Cameras.
14. Informal resolution
Before starting any legal proceeding, please contact us at support@wisrdev.com and describe the issue. We will try in good faith to resolve it with you directly.
15. Governing law and venue
15.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
15.2 Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service that is not resolved under Section 14 will be decided exclusively by the state or federal courts located in Texas. You and WISR consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
16. Changes to these Terms
16.1 We may revise these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on this page and update the date at the top.
16.2 For material changes, we will notify account holders before the changes take effect. If you continue to use the Service after a change takes effect, you agree to the revised Terms.
17. General
17.1 Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and WISR regarding the Service.
17.2 Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
17.3 No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
17.4 Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms. We may assign these Terms in connection with a reorganization, merger or sale of WISR.
17.5 Third-party marks. Camera brands and other third-party names that appear in the Service belong to their respective owners. WISR is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
